RUMI Festival - The Language of Love: An Intercultural Journey Through Diversity and Inclusion

Maulana RUMI Festival is a dynamic two-day multicultural and interfaith festival inspired by the universal teachings of Maulana Jalal al-Din Rumi, the 13th-century Persian poet and mystic whose message of love, unity, and inner peace continues to inspire the world.

The event which will take place in both the Richcraft Theatre and the Lower Lobby will feature:

  • Live Music Concerts featuring diverse performers and bands from across Canada—showcasing global sounds from Iranian, Turkish, South Asian, Eastern European, and other cultural traditions like Sufi and Whirling.
  • Dance Performances that bring Rumi's mystical poetry to life through sacred movement and rhythm.
  • A rich Fine Arts & Visual Exhibition including calligraphy, photography, painting, and sculpture from local and newcomer artists.
  • Kids' Activities designed to inspire creativity, learning and fun for the whole family.
  • A lively Cultural Marketplace with artisan crafts, handmade goods, books and multicultural food.
