Matinée Café: Standing Room Only

Enjoy an hour of live big band music with coffee and treats after the show.

The classic big band Standing Room Only has an inviting sound. Known for playing tea dances in Almonte since 2006, they bring ballroom and swing dancers out in droves. Their music is reminiscent of the sounds of the 1920s to 1940s, when big bands were king. This is a sit-down show but that doesn’t mean it won’t have you swaying and dancing in your seat as you enjoy the band’s tremendous brassy, jazzy and rhythmic sound.
