Ryan Doucette

Acadian comedian, actor, author, and screenwriter from La Baie Sainte-Marie, Nova Scotia. His sharp humor, incisive writing, and ability to blend comedy with reflection have made him one of the most captivating voices in francophone comedy in Canada. A theatre graduate, Ryan first made a name for himself through his stage work, where he combines stand-up, acting, and original writing, capturing audiences' attention with his charismatic presence and his ability to turn everyday life into laughter and emotion. On television, he is best known as the creator, host, and writer of Le sens du punch, a series exploring the art of stand-up and francophone comedy talent. In 2025, Ryan took a major new step by writing and starring in the series Bedaine, an original comedy-drama produced for ICI TOU.TV EXTRA. In it, he brings to life a fallen superhero trying to find meaning again in his home village—a role that highlights his talent for blending humor, humanity, and narrative depth. With a style that moves between self-deprecation, sensitivity, and sharp punchlines, Ryan Doucette continues to push the boundaries of Acadian comedy and shape today's francophone comedy scene.

Kyra Carleton

Comedian and writer from Montreal, known for her candid storytelling and sharp wordplay. Now based in London, she has performed across Canada and internationally in New York City, Paris, and the UK. In 2023, she was featured in Just For Laughs’ Discovery Series and has since performed at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and Toronto. In 2026, she appeared at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and recorded a CBC TV gala. She has opened for acclaimed comedians including Des Bishop, Jared Freid, and Ed Gamble.

Rebecca Reeds

Canadian stand-up comedian, writer, and podcaster known for her sharp, self-aware humour and storytelling. Past festival appearances include Just For Laughs New Faces, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, JFL42 and Hubcap Comedy Festival. You can catch her on The Debaters, The New Wave of Standup on CBC’s Gem and Season 5 of Roast Battle Canada. Rebecca co-hosts the award-winning podcasts The Villain Was Right and Comedians in Dungeons Getting Dragons, featured on The From Superheroes Network. Walter Lyng

A multifaceted performer who has been entertaining on stage and screen for more than a decade in and around his hometown of Montreal. Breaking into the stand-up comedy world in his early 20s, Walter has performed in venues and festivals throughout the country. On a local level, he has been featured in the Fringe Festival, Zoofest and Just For Laughs. Walter is the creator and star of the one man show Pitching Knife Fight as well as the co-host of the live talk show Night Fight, which was nominated in 2015 for a Just For Laughs award. In 2018, Walter and fellow comedian Reese Turner debuted their new show RAD DADs to a sold-out OFF JFL crowd before going on a successful tour of the East Coast. Recognizable for his appearance in a series of 2018 ads for Vachon snack cakes, Walter has also participated in campaigns for McDonalds, Square and Nos Energy Drink. Keeping his fingers in many pots, Walter is also the co-host of Go Plug Yourself, a long-running and top-rated podcast in Montreal that focuses on the arts community.

Bobby Knauff

Originally from Thunder Bay, Bobby Knauff moved to Toronto in 2006 to pursue comedy. He has had numerous appearances on Much Music and MTV Canada and has toured across Canada headlining with Yuk Yuk’s. He has been part of the Sudbury LOL Comedy Festival, NXNE Music & Comedy Fest, JFL42 in Toronto, The Toronto Festival of Clowns, The Icebreakers Comedy Festival and The Big Sound Comedy Festival. He has been the opening act for Maria Bamford, Big Jay Oakerson, Robert Kelly, Rory Scovel, Christina Pazsitzky, Greg Proops, Boyd Banks, Derek Seguin, hosted numerous times for Darren Frost & Kenny Robinson’s ‘Rank & Vile’ Show, toured with Marc ‘Skippy’ Price from Family Ties and most recently toured with Canadian legend Tom Green. In 2020 Bobby independently put out his first comedy album “Rock Bottom”, which is widely played on satellite radio and available everywhere. His second album “The Cat Man Let Loose” is set to be released in late 2025.

Bobby can also be seen in many commercials, guest roles on television and can be heard as a voice actor in numerous commercials and cartoons; most notably as the lead Luka in the CBC hit cartoon Kingdom Force. He is also one half of the sketch duo “The Two Sues” with the phenomenal Josh Stone and is a puppeteer with his puppet buddy Andre the Alien; who hosts his own talk show “That’s Comedy!” He now resides in Ottawa where he has been warmly welcomed as a sought-after talent and won the comedian voted Ottawa Comedy Awards “Best Headliner” three years in a row (2023-2025). Bobby enjoys talking about his minor accomplishments in the third person and also enjoys the company of cats over people.

Rahul Topiwala

Rahul Topiwala has been performing stand-up comedy for eight years, bringing sharp wit and relatable storytelling to stages across Canada. He began his comedy journey in university alongside some funny professors and has since performed in three different countries. A featured performer at Just For Laughs and the Departures Comedy Festival, he’s a regular at top clubs in Toronto and Ottawa, where he shares his hilarious takes on culture, countries, and married life
