Les souliers d’Angélie (Angélie’s Shoes)

Presented by Shenkman Arts Centre and Tara Luz Danse

Come and discover Angélie, a playful, vibrant, sensitive and poetic character. In this whimsical dance work, Angélie surrounds herself with shoes and a collection of objects inspired by her favorite color, yellow, which lead her into a world filled with movement and imagination. With more than one woman on stage, the audience is also invited to consider: which one is Angélie?

“In Angélie’s Shoes, various everyday objects join the dance, offering us surprises and discoveries: rain boots, flip flops, ribbons, and even an ear of corn! The performance brings together everything that defines choreographer Anik Bouvrette’s work on a gestural, artistic, and aesthetic level, but above all, it highlights the deep connection between play and creativity.” - Revue Liaison

Les souliers d’Angélie (Angélie’s Shoes) is a visual delight for the whole family!
