Valentines 2016 Contest Rules

When a winner is announced, his or her name will be published at this location.

1. No purchase necessary.
2. To enter, come to Fête Frissons on February 6 and find the Valentine’s Day Contest ballot box to fill in a ballot with your full name and e-mail address or phone number. Boxes are located in the Upper Lobby facing the front entrance, and the Lower Lobby near the coat check.
3. Entrants are eligible to win one of five 4-packs of tickets to the following three shows: Kinderconcerts – Recorders on the Run on Saturday, February 20, 2016 (two 4-packs); Cat in the Hat on Saturday, February 27, 2016 (one 4-pack); and Kinderconcerts – Stradivarius’ Secret on Saturday, April 9, 2016 (two 4-packs).
4. Contest runs from 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 6 and closes at noon on Thursday, February 11, 2016.
5. Winning ballots will be drawn at random at Shenkman Arts Centre Thursday, February 11, 2016 after noon.
6. Prize winners will be announced on Facebook and contacted by telephone and/or email before end of day on Friday, February 12, 2016. Winner must acknowledge and agree to accept the prize before Monday, February 15, 2016 or an alternate winner will be selected.
7. The winner must release Global Pet Foods, Shenkman Arts centre and the City of Ottawa from all liability relating to the prize.
8. Prizes will be made available for pick up by the winners at the Shenkman Arts Centre Guest Services desk as of Tuesday, February 16, 2016.
9. Contest is open to residents of Canada over the age of majority, except employees of Shenkman Arts Centre and those with whom they are domiciled.
10. Odds of winning are approximately 1 in 200.
11. Only one prize per family, household, or address will be awarded.
12. Entrants consent to use of name/likeness in publicity.
13. Shenkman Arts Centre will not be responsible for late, lost, destroyed or illegible ballots in connection with this contest.
14. Prizes are not redeemable for cash.
15. The contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and municipal laws. The contest is open to residents of Canada. Quebec residents may submit any litigation respecting the conduct and awarding of a prize in this contest to the Régie des Alcools, des Courses et des Jeux.

(No purchase necessary) To enter, print your full name and e-mail address or phone number on an official entry ballot, available at the Fête Frissons 2016 contest stations on Saturday February 6, 2016, or at the Guest Services counter during open hours from Sunday February 7, 2016 to noon on Thursday, February 11, 2016. All entries must be received by noon on Thursday, February 11, 2016. Shenkman Arts Centre will not be responsible for late, lost, destroyed or illegible ballots in connection with this contest. All entries become the property of Shenkman Arts Centre and no correspondence will be entered into except with winning entrants. Five winning ballots will be drawn at random by Shenkman Arts Centre staff on Thursday, February 11, 2016 after noon, selected from all eligible entries received on or before the contest closing date. Winners will be notified telephone and/or email before end of day on Friday, February 12, 2016. Winners must acknowledge and agree to accept their prizes after Tuesday, February 16, 2016 or an alternate winner will be selected. Winners agree to allow the use of their name, voice, and photo for promotional purposes. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Entrants are eligible to win one of five 4-packs of tickets to the following three shows: Kinderconcerts – Recorders on the Run on Saturday, February 20, 2016 (two 4-packs); Cat in the Hat on Saturday, February 27, 2016 (one 4-pack); and Kinderconcerts – Stradivarius’ Secret on Saturday, April 9, 2016 (two 4-packs). No substitution for or transfer of the prize will be allowed. The chances of winning depend upon the number of total entries received. The contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and municipal laws. The contest is open to residents of Canada. Quebec residents may submit any litigation respecting the conduct and awarding of a prize in this contest to the Régie des Alcools, des Courses et des Jeux.
