3rd Annual New Year’s Eve Comedy Night

Start the New Year in stitches with our 3rd Annual New Year’s Eve Comedy Night!
Laughter’s the best way to end one year and start another. Don’t wait too long to get your tickets. This show sells out every year.

Andy Chapman
Ottawa born and raised, Andy Chapman cut his comedic teeth at Yuk Yuk’s Ottawa when he was still a high school student. He’s now comedy club regular in and around Toronto, and has made the rounds along the east-west corridor, from Montreal to London and places between.

If you haven’t seen him on stage, you’ve probably seen him on screen, especially if you have kids. He’s hosted both Discovery Canada’s “SciQ”, and YTV’s “Crunch”. Of course his shows are funny, the content’s grown up, but get this, it’s clean too. Kind of refreshing. “Andy Chapman’s one-man stand-up comedy hour was laugh-out-loud funny from the get-go… really funny and smart comedian…”
– Ottawa Fringe Fest

DeAnne Smith
DeAnne started her comedy career in 2005 at an open mic in Montreal. Since then she’s won a billion awards and performed at all the major comedy festivals including Just for Laughs, Adelaide, Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne, Sydney…the list is long!

Amanda Brooke Perrin
In high school, Amanda Brooke Perrin was voted “Most likely to be attacked by a bear.” And that was the way her life was going until 2007, when she was talked into doing her first open mic at a Calgary pub. After that night, there was no stopping her. She’s taken her absurdist sensibilities to clubs and venues across Canada for the past five years. Recently, she was featured on the cult comedy podcast “Stop Podcasting Yourself” and nominated for “Best Newcomer” at the 2010 Canadian Comedy Awards. In 2011 she worked as a “Comedy Insider” for The Comedy Network in Toronto. In 2012 she performed at both The Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland and the Women in Comedy Festival in Boston. Despite all the laughs, she is still haunted by dreams of her eventual death by a grizzly bear.
