Water, Water, Everywhere! (Bilingual)

SAC - OSA - W16SC020A Water Water 6-8
This course will take a look at all things moving, fluid, fascinating, salty, wavy, and wild with the mysterious aquatic world. We will draw our water, paint with water, sculpt our water and dive into a most amazing array of mixed-media projects, tipping our hats to this precious resource. Stories and myths about water and its creatures will inspire our creations in clay, charcoal, watercolour, and textile creations as we delve into specific tips, tricks and techniques to express ourselves with skill and grace. We will study the world of artists past and present who have worked closely with this life-sustaining element. We will certainly make a splash of a final show at the end of the week with our gorgeous and multi-dimensional works.
