The Flying Canoe

Presented by: Rag & Bone Puppet Theatre

With a talking cat, a bear in a canoe, and other magical creatures, this show is a fantastic and fun introduction to the culture, music and language* of the first Francophones in Canada. The Flying Canoe, also known as La Chasse-Galerie, is the centerpiece of our play about the myths, legends, and daily life in early French Canada. Featuring puppets, early film footage, traditional songs, and music.
