Presented by: L'écho d'un peuple, SFOPHO and its partners

Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 7 pm

Travel through time with this massive production featuring 300 actors, singers and dancers! Discover an entirely new show from the creators of L’écho d’un peuple, developed in collaboration with a creative team that includes Olivier Nadon (Improtéine). Relive Canada’s multicultural history and the sea-to-sea saga of the country’s Francophonie, through accounts given by the descendants of major figures, the magic of theatre, the madness of dance, the beauty of period costumes, the excitement of special effects, the rush of action scenes, the power of cinema and the impact of comedy. Feel the emotions associated with classic songs like Réveille by Zachary, as well as originals like De Lys et d’Érable. Several singers will be on hand for the festivities, including Héloïse Yelle, Le R, Brian St-Pierre, Martine Lafontaine and Michel Payment. Let yourself be imbued with the values shared by the First Nations, Métis and Inuit. Be inspired by the dreams and exploits of great nation builders like Champlain, Marie Rollet, the Filles du Roi, Louis-Joseph Papineau, Marie-Anne Gaboury, Louis Riel, Émilie Tremblay, la Bolduc, Maurice Richard and Félix Leclerc. This huge celebration is a collaboration between the SFOPHO, the CECCE, the CEPEO, the CSDCEO and several other partners, including the governments of Ontario and Canada.
