Les Sœurs Boulay – 4488 de l’amour

Presented by: MIFO and La fromagerie St-Albert

Thursday, November 24, 2016 at 8 pm

After many performances of the show Le poids des confettis, Les sœurs Boulay have finally found the stage a place where they can set themselves free, cause trouble, laugh and make awkward confessions, a place for therapy, conflict and reconciliation, and above all a place for sharing: the fourth wall comes down and everyone ─ the audience included ─ is in the same house. 4488 de l’Amour is a show that does not take itself seriously; changes it up from time to time, accepts its craziness and bipolarity, shifting from melancholy folk songs to bittersweet pop - these two women are both comic and grumpy, often in love with guys, and not to happy as such. There will be jokes (not really funny) and gaffes, tears and arguments, and it will be sweet and sensitive as well as proud and clever.
