Jocelyne, the owner of a dressmaking shop in a small town, leads a peaceful existence with her husband Jocelyn, a factory worker. Even though Jocelyne sometimes dreams of the life she would have had, she makes do with life’s simple pleasures and small joys. But after a boozy evening with eccentric twin neighbours, Jocelyne buys a lottery ticket and wins big. Euphoria rapidly gives way to anxiety: what if this money is a poisoned gift?

French author and adverting executive Grégoire Delacourt’s inspiring novel La Liste de mes envies was a huge success, translated in more than 30 countries and adapted in film. In this stage portrayal by Maryse Warda, actress Marie-Chantal Perron will play Jocelyne, a woman both touching and funny. The production will be directed by Marie-Thérèse Fortin - a renowned, experienced actress who brilliantly explored intimacy and women when she directed Jennifer Tremblay’s La Liste in 2010.
