Folk-rocker Stephen Fearing is one of the most respected names in the North American roots music scene, earning praise from industry heavyweights, collaborating with artists across the continent, and collecting major awards along the way. Aside from a Canadian Folk Music Award and a West Coast Music Award, Fearing can claim one Juno win for his solo album Yellowjacket and another with his group Blackie and the Rodeo Kings.
The Guelph native has released nine albums of his own, featuring musical guests like Bruce Cockburn and Sarah McLachlan. His discography also includes eight albums with Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, and two albums as Fearing & White. Stephen Fearing’s music relays a fervent love for his craft and a respect for storytelling with intense instrumentals, translating beautifully into a live performance full of candor and musicianship. He will be joined onstage by percussionist Gary Craig and bassist John Dymond.
