Boucar Diouf - Magtogoek ou le chemin qui marche

Presented by: MIFO and Fromagerie St. Albert

Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 8 pm

Magtogoek (the road that walks) is the name the Algonquins gave to the St. Lawrence River before Jacques Cartier’s arrival. It’s also this road that led Boucar to Rimouski in 1991. Today, armed with a love for history and marine biology, he tells audiences the story of this great river whose water now flows in his veins. Indeed, this show is one big love letter to the St. Lawrence River, a historical journey flowing with both humour and science.
