Join the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra in a new tradition!

In the spirit of London’s famous Proms, At the Proms delivers a music experience that’s sure to delight any listener. If you’re an experienced symphony-goer, you’ll enjoy a new take on beloved classics. If you’re new to the classical experience, you’ll get to know a little more about music in an informal setting that’s fun for all ages.

You’ve never had an orchestral experience quite like this!

The promenade concert is a great London tradition. Since the 1890s, the Proms have offered a wide range of music, impeccably performed for large audiences in an informal setting.

In this spirit, At the Proms features popular classical British music such as Elgar’s Enigma Variations, the Pomp and Circumstances march, and Bruch’s Scottish Fantasy.

Special Features:
  • Pre-concert chat with Dr. Christopher Moore (learn more about the pieces you’ll hear)
  • In-concert interview with concertmaster Mary-Elizabeth Brown. This will also be her first solo performance with the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra.

This concert is delivered under the Honorary Patronage of the British High Commission.
